Anyone who is working with behaviour problems needs to have a firm understanding of the science behind these problems, as well as thorough experience and a demonstration of practical skills.
As there is currently no firm regulation of behaviourists and trainers, please ensure that you use someone who is appropriately qualified. Kind, effective, reward based methods are scientifically supported, and are much more humane and effective than the traditional dominance 'leader of the pack' framework.

TESTIMONIAL: "Lauren Watts came to visit our two small dogs, Teddy and Jasper, with regard to their dislike of other dogs recently. Not only did Lauren give us lots of advice, she also gave us a lot of confidence in our animals. She was a really lovely person to work with - knowledgeable, helpful and really very kind. She obviously knows her subject well but is also a very personable and a very nice person and that meant that we were relaxed and so were the dogs.
I would highly recommend Lauren (and already have) as I am sure she would be able to provide clear, concise assistance at a very reasonable price. She offered sensible advice and solutions, followed up by a useful and informative report and we have continued to carry through her advice and begun to see a difference in the boys. I wish Lauren much success and would have no hesitation in using Lauren again in the future. Thank you Lauren."
